About us
Beacon Church (formerly Life Point Church) began with humble beginnings in 2010 at the Tri-Cities Cinema right Interstate 81 in Blountville, Tennessee. A small group of people gathered with a big faith and a deep love for Jesus. What started as a simple step of obedience has grown into a church family committed to shining the light of Christ in our community. From the very beginning, our heart has been to create a place where people feel seen, valued, and welcomed.

We believe the church should be a place where anyone can come just as they are, no matter their background, questions, or circumstances, and experience the love and grace of Jesus. At Beacon, you’ll find authentic relationships, meaningful worship, and opportunities to grow in your faith. We value community, discipleship, and creating an environment where lives are transformed through the power of God.

As we continue to move forward, our mission remains the same: to be a beacon of light and hope that points people to Jesus. Through worship, kids and student ministries, small groups, and serving our community, we strive to live out our faith beyond the walls of the church. Whether you are exploring faith for the first time or have walked with Jesus for years, there is a place for you at Beacon Church. We are better together.

What we believe
We believe that the scriptures are inspired by God, and that there is only one true God, revealed in three persons (Father, Son, Holy Spirit).
We believe that every person can have a restored relationship with God through salvation. Following salvation, we believe that God offers the free gift of the baptism of the Holy Spirit.
